Pricing

One plan. Pay per seat. No minimums.

A seat is a staff login — not a device, not a client. Your clients' portal access is always free, so you never pay more just because your book of business grows. Beta pricing is locked in for as long as you stay on it, even as list price rises later.

Beta pricing — locked in

Automatica

Every module you see below, on every seat, from your very first staff account.

$39 AUD / seat / month
+ GST

for your first 5 seats — one person pays for one seat, nothing more

Per-seat rate by number of staff seats, monthly and annual
Seats Monthly Annual (per seat)
1 – 5 $39 / mo $390 / yr
6 – 10 $35 / mo $350 / yr
11+ $29 / mo $290 / yr

Rates apply only to the seats in that band — your first 5 seats are always $39/mo (or $390/yr), no matter how large your team grows. Annual is 10× the monthly rate — two months free compared with paying monthly.

No seat minimums. No setup fee. Cancel anytime. New seats bill pro-rata for whatever's left of your term; annual plans automatically true down to the seats you're actually using when they renew.

On the roadmap

Two more modules are coming.

Atlas and Beacon roll into your plan as they ship — beta seats don't pay extra for them when they land.

Atlas

Knowledge
Coming soon

Site documentation, runbooks, and a per-client credential vault, so institutional knowledge lives in the platform rather than in someone's inbox.

Beacon

Endpoints
Coming soon

A lightweight agent on managed devices that surfaces support tickets directly to clients and reports hardware and software inventory back to the platform.

Questions

Pricing, in plain terms.

What counts as a seat?

A staff login — anyone on your team with an account in Automatica: technicians, managers, owners. Your clients' access to the Embark client portal is never a seat and is never billed.

Is there a minimum number of seats?

No. If it's just you, you pay for one seat. There's no team-size threshold to unlock the platform.

What happens when I add staff?

Your existing seats never get more expensive. New seats bill at the rate for the band they fall into — your 6th seat bills at the 6–10 rate, your existing 5 stay at $39.

Will my price change after the beta ends?

Not for you. Beta clients keep their locked-in rate for as long as they remain a customer, even as list pricing rises at general availability.

If I'm on annual billing, what happens when I add seats mid-term?

New seats are billed pro-rata for whatever's left of your current term, at the rate for the band they land in. You're never asked to pre-pay a full year for a seat you've only had for a couple of months.

What happens to unused seats when my annual plan renews?

You're only billed for the seats you're actually using at renewal. If you bought extra seats during the year but your team's smaller by the time it renews, your paid seat count drops automatically to match — we never renew you at a higher seat count than you need.

What's not included yet?

Atlas (documentation and credential vault) and Beacon (endpoint agent) are still being built — see the roadmap above. Everything else on this page is live today.
